With a love for Jesus and inspiration from Romans 12:1, a song-writing choir director (Cliff Young) and a hymn-arranging worship assistant (MariaBella Soriano) came together to form the band, Living Sacrifice. From their first performance in 2009 to the present, the passion behind this vibrant group of talented worshipers has been to ignite and equip people worldwide into a worshipful relationship with Jesus Christ through Christian Soul Music. What is Christian Soul Music? It’s an inspirational and evangelical genre that combines gospel, rhythm and blues, jazz, funk, Latin, hip hop, and multi-cultural world music.
Cliff Young graduated from USC with a BA in Music Education and Trumpet Performance and later received a Masters of Music Education. He is currently the lead pastor at New Hope Christian Center in Lomita, CA.
MariaBella Soriano began training as a classical pianist at age 3! She has a passion for improv, composition and creating and layering her own melodies.
